A great start to the year four bioluminescent sea creatures project.

In year 4 our topic has been 'The Blue Abyss'. We have been learning about the creatures that can be found in the different layers of the sea. As a final project we have been creating our own bioluminescent creatures of the ocean, out of clay. Lexie, in Maple class, said "I really like using clay and can't wait to see my creature glow!"

British Heart Foundation Fun Run

Image
Squirrels Heath Junior Fun Run   In Year 5 the children are currently planning and organising an odd sock fun run to raise awareness of the British Heart Foundation. Their vision is a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory diseases. They raise money to research cures and treatments, so they can beat heartbreak forever. The children have been busy designing post ers, planning an assembly and organising the day. They are working extremely hard to make this event fun and enjoyable for everyone so we would like to raise as much as we can for this very worthy cause. Thanking you in advance The Year 5 Team
