Improvisation in Year 4!

Image
In music this term, we have been learning to improvise using a glockenspiel.  Our music lessons have been heard throughout the school, and thankfully we have been improving week by week.  We have learnt how to find the key a piece of music is in.  This has helped us to improvise using the correct key and this has meant that we have been producing improvised pieces in the correct key, therefore making it sound a lot better. It has been great fun in our music lessons, even if they have been very loud.

Year 6 were lucky enough to receive a visit from the Science department at Royal Liberty School.  There were some familiar faces returning and it was great to see these children flourishing in Secondary School! We had a great time, exploring 5 different stations with varying experiments.  The children got to join in and learnt all about the science behind each experiment.
