Year 4 are Electrical Explorers!
This week we have been making circuits and exploring what is needed to make a complete circuit...we had a lot of fun trying to them work! We also pretended to be circuit parts and free electrons to learn about how electricity is generated!
Year 4 explore the feelings of masters and servants in RE...
This week we looked at Moses and why he wanted to free his people. The children took turns being masters and servants, and had to complete unpleasant tasks such as peeling grapes and separating grains of rice from raisins using chopsticks...we explored how it feels to be made do jobs that they do not wish to do, and talked about Moses and why he asked the pharaoh to free the slaves. The children had some fantastic discussions about how all the different people felt at this time..
