The Romford Drum and Trumpet Corp play us a visit!

Image
The Romford Drum and Trumpet Corp were with us today to tell us all about their brilliant organisation. The children were able to try their hands (and lungs!) at a whole range of instruments and got to try on their very spiffing costumes.  To end the day, they were able to experience what it's like to be part of a marching band. What a way to round off the spring term!

We will add the finishing touches next week but so far they are looking amazing. Well done everyone!

The first fun experiment was alighting Jelly Babies, this made an extreme explosion with flames and smoke! Then we got into groups of seven or eight and did four fun experiments while filling out a sheet. After we made our way next room to learn about witchcraft. During this lesson, we learnt about witchcraft, what people were accused for and the trials they faced. First, we had to identify different images and learnt what the images were.
