Squirrels Heath Junior School

 After learning about the circulatory system this term, we spent this week dissecting a lamb’s heart in groups.  We were really successful in identifying parts of the heart and understanding their function. Everyone got fully involved in the lesson and we had a fantastic time. Well done to all of our fantastic children. 

 This week we visited the British Museum in London. We had the most fantastic time exploring the exhibits and learning about life in Benin and other African countries.   Well done to all of our children and a big thank you to all of our fabulous helpers. 

 This week we used our design plans to create our very own, working pneumatic monsters! We started by creating the hinge, before we decorated and tested them to see if they worked. And… they did! Here’s us in action.
