Squirrels Heath Junior School

 Year 6 are nearly at the end of their primary school journey and we are really making the most of it! We managed to beat the rain and get over to the field this morning for some fun with our friends and everyone got treated to an ice lolly! Now time to party away this afternoon!

In gardening club, this year, the children have been very busy growing a variety of fruit and vegetables. For many children this was the first experience they have had of gardening and growing their own food.  Many children were surprised at how much different some fruits and vegetables can taste when they are freshly picked. Everyone is extremely proud of our school gardens and of the children in our gardening club, who take the time to tend to these areas and make them a pleasure to view by all. Here are a few examples of what the children have achieved this year.

 We had an excellent French Day today! We loved looking at French Art, cuisine and games!
