Squirrels Heath Junior School

                                              Y5 Chemistry Roadshow                              with Royal Liberty        This  afternoon the children had the chance to carry out various chemistry experiments with the Royal Liberty. Many of the workshops were delivered by past students of Squirrels Heath which was very inspiring. Our school continues to inspire the young scientists of the future.  

On Thursday, year 6 travelled to London to visit the British Museum. We enjoyed looking at historical artefacts from the Benin Kingdom, as well as putting our historical knowledge to the test to see if we could locate the Oba's (kings) in the bronze plaques. 

 Today we made fruit kebabs, vegetable crisps and hummous - we used only fresh ingredients, compared them to packaged food and had a superb time tasting our creations!  👨👨👨 😊
