Year 5 Arc Workshop

This week, Arc Theatre Company paid us a visit. Their group of actors performed a play set after World War II with a very important message. Our children learned of the importance of tolerance, respect and equality in our diverse society. They also learned valuable lessons about how not all may be as it is portrayed on the internet. 

Year 6 Arc Workshop

Today we were visited by Arc Theatre Company, learning about how we can all live together in a happy society where we are all treated equally.  We learnt lots and really enjoyed the workshop which was set in World War Two.  Well done everyone. 👍🏻👍🏻

Year 6 Road Safety Assembly🚦

 On Friday, Year 6 had fun taking part in an interactive road safety assembly. They had to gather evidence and discuss who was at fault for the road incident. They enjoyed listening to the witness statements and questioning the suspects!

Year 5 Road Safety

 Today we had a Road Safety investigation workshop which was lots of fun! We also learned about how to keep everyone safe when out and about near roads.

Geographers in Year 5

  This week Year 5 started their new Geography based topic ‘Sow, Grow and Farm’. We began by looking at allotments and answering a the geographical enquiry question all about the best location for an allotment. We also learned lots of new vocabulary such as pastoral farming, arable, farming and viticulture.

New Year fitness in Year 4…team building games!

 This week we started our team building series of lessons to encourage children to get fit, have fun and work together! They loved it, despite the cold! 😁 Some classes stayed in and started gymnastics instead!
