Squirrels Heath Junior School

This week we have been inspired by the Ancient Sumerian civilisation and the sculptures of that  time…we are so proud of the concentration the children had working on them!  

 After working hard all week during our SATs and trying our very best all year, we earned a much deserved afternoon full of sewing and sports fun. As part of our 'Make do and mend' project in DT, we put our sewing skills to the test by upcycling old clothing into trendy new garments. For our sports afternoon, we played a variety of sporting activities and enjoyed time crocheting and colouring.
