School fete

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came today to support our school, at our summer fete. It was a great success and everyone had lots of fun. The inflatables were extremely popular and many children could be seen going from one to another, at great speed. Also, as usual, our bottle tombola was a real success, with all of the bottles going to new homes! The money raised at this event will directly benefit all of the children in school and help to enrich their school experience.

Netball: Havering CHAMPIONS!

 Well done to our FANTASTIC netball team for winning the Havering league today.  They have officially been crowned the best netball players in Havering! 30 teams entered the tournament at the beginning and it was down to the final 4 today in the semi finals. First we beat Gidea Park and then squirrels went on to beat James Oglethorpe 12-4 in the final - a very well deserved win. Compliments were given by all other coaches and the sports collective on what an amazing tournament we have had.  Well done again Squirrels and a huge well done to Mr Leslie for all his hard work and dedication as a coach.

Year 4 trip to the National Gallery

 We are having a great time at the National gallery today. We got here in good time and are enjoying looking at the great artwork on display. I think many of the children are also looking forward to having lunch and as always the train trip has been a highlight.  More photos to follow.
