Our French Day winners

A big thank you to all our children who have made French Day such a success.  We have played French games, learnt French dances, eaten French food and improved our use of the language through a series of activities.

Logan, in Year 3, said "I really enjoyed today, the best part was playing boules with my friends."

We have been both amazed and impressed again at the quality of the outfits the children have created for today.  Judging the year group winners has been extremely hard as ever, but we managed to come to a decision in the end.

Our winners were:

In Year 3 - Sydney and Logan
In Year 4 - Bailey and Bernie
In Year 5 - Megan and Arturo
In Year 6 - Alexa and Jacob

Netball: Havering CHAMPIONS!

 Well done to our FANTASTIC netball team for winning the Havering league today.  They have officially been crowned the best netball players in Havering! 30 teams entered the tournament at the beginning and it was down to the final 4 today in the semi finals. First we beat Gidea Park and then squirrels went on to beat James Oglethorpe 12-4 in the final - a very well deserved win. Compliments were given by all other coaches and the sports collective on what an amazing tournament we have had.  Well done again Squirrels and a huge well done to Mr Leslie for all his hard work and dedication as a coach.

Year 4 trip to the National Gallery

 We are having a great time at the National gallery today. We got here in good time and are enjoying looking at the great artwork on display. I think many of the children are also looking forward to having lunch and as always the train trip has been a highlight.  More photos to follow.
