A lovely new addition to our outdoor facilities

Pupils love our new pergola and storyteller area. Currently our pergola is being used by pupils to share big books at playtimes and lunchtimes. It also provides a quieter area for those that just want to sit and chat with their friends. We are all looking forward to the spring and summer months when we can use the space to enjoy lessons outside.

This lovely new area was made possible using money raised through fundraising last year. Why not join us in raising money to fund our next big project in the quad area – our bio-dome! Together, we can continue to improve our facilities and make Squirrels Heath a fantastic place to learn and grow.

Netball: Havering CHAMPIONS!

 Well done to our FANTASTIC netball team for winning the Havering league today.  They have officially been crowned the best netball players in Havering! 30 teams entered the tournament at the beginning and it was down to the final 4 today in the semi finals. First we beat Gidea Park and then squirrels went on to beat James Oglethorpe 12-4 in the final - a very well deserved win. Compliments were given by all other coaches and the sports collective on what an amazing tournament we have had.  Well done again Squirrels and a huge well done to Mr Leslie for all his hard work and dedication as a coach.

Year 4 trip to the National Gallery

 We are having a great time at the National gallery today. We got here in good time and are enjoying looking at the great artwork on display. I think many of the children are also looking forward to having lunch and as always the train trip has been a highlight.  More photos to follow.
