‘On a sunny but cold day, Squirrels Heath Junior School's Football Team arrived in Rainham to play La Salette Primary School. The pitch was nice but quite small. Squirrels kicked off and opened with a strike by Harrison. Just before half time La Salette scored a good goal to even the figure. The second half was very eventful with four goals! Harrison scored the next two goals to make it 3:1 bu La Salette hit back with two goals of their own. The score at the end of normal time was 3:3.

No further goals were scored in extra time so it went to penalties. Christopher made two great saves and our team scored four brilliant penalties which meant we won and we are through to the next round of the knock out cup! We will play the winner of the Engayne V Scotts Primary match.

Netball: Havering CHAMPIONS!

 Well done to our FANTASTIC netball team for winning the Havering league today.  They have officially been crowned the best netball players in Havering! 30 teams entered the tournament at the beginning and it was down to the final 4 today in the semi finals. First we beat Gidea Park and then squirrels went on to beat James Oglethorpe 12-4 in the final - a very well deserved win. Compliments were given by all other coaches and the sports collective on what an amazing tournament we have had.  Well done again Squirrels and a huge well done to Mr Leslie for all his hard work and dedication as a coach.

Year 4 trip to the National Gallery

 We are having a great time at the National gallery today. We got here in good time and are enjoying looking at the great artwork on display. I think many of the children are also looking forward to having lunch and as always the train trip has been a highlight.  More photos to follow.
