Year 6 web designer visit
Yesterday Year 6 were visited by a Web Design team from a local company, based in Romford. As the children have started a new topic called 'Tomorrow's World', it was thought that the children would benefit from a presentation about how companies choose a website and how it is designed. They learnt about how websites are searched for and what makes a website desirable.
The children asked lots of questions and the team from Perfect Layout Digital Marketing commented on how good the children's questions were. The children can now use the knowledge they gained to help them when they design their own websites later in the term. Our visitors also agreed to judge which website was the best at the end of this topic.
A year 6 boy said, 'I really liked today's visit because it is interesting and you never know it might inspire you to become a web designer!'
