Activity of the day Monday 30th March

Why not try cooking or baking something together today. It could be anything from some biscuits or cup cakes to a full blown dinner.




I would love to put some pictures on the website tomorrow of some of our children cooking at home. If you have a picture you would like us to share on the blog please email it to - schoolblog@squirrelsheath.org.uk Please put the names of the children in the email so I can add their names to the blog (if you are happy for their names to be used).

Netball: Havering CHAMPIONS!

 Well done to our FANTASTIC netball team for winning the Havering league today.  They have officially been crowned the best netball players in Havering! 30 teams entered the tournament at the beginning and it was down to the final 4 today in the semi finals. First we beat Gidea Park and then squirrels went on to beat James Oglethorpe 12-4 in the final - a very well deserved win. Compliments were given by all other coaches and the sports collective on what an amazing tournament we have had.  Well done again Squirrels and a huge well done to Mr Leslie for all his hard work and dedication as a coach.

Year 4 trip to the National Gallery

 We are having a great time at the National gallery today. We got here in good time and are enjoying looking at the great artwork on display. I think many of the children are also looking forward to having lunch and as always the train trip has been a highlight.  More photos to follow.
