DESIGN A SAFETY POSTER
To help keep children active and to help provide some much needed relief from the ongoing Covid – 19 crisis, we are pleased to launch our latest competition.
We would like your pupils to design a safety poster, providing customers with information as they travel through our stations. The submissions should be drawn on an A4 piece of paper. The poster will need to contain important safety messages, including:
- Walk don’t run when travelling through TfL Rail stations.
- Stand behind the yellow line while waiting for TfL Rail trains.
- Don’t hold train doors open.
- Be kind to TfL Rail staff
- Help us keep our stations/trains clean, by putting litter in bins.
Each entry can be specific to one of the topics above, or they can include a mixture of them within the poster. For instance, one poster could include messaging about being nice to staff, while walking within station premises. Another poster may ask customers to stand behind the yellow line, and not to drop litter onto the platform, while waiting for their train etc. It is entirely up to each child what topic(s) they would like to include in their entry.
The competition runs from Monday 20th April – Friday 24th April. All entries from your school should be emailed to: Richard.Baker@mtrel.co.uk Once all entries have been received, they will be passed onto our Manager and Head of Customer Experience for judging. One winner being selected.
The winner of the competition will be announced via email on Wednesday 29th April. The winner will receive a copy of their picture in a poster size (as provided by our official station poster supplier), and will be posted to your school premises.
GOOD LUCK, and we look forward to receiving entries from you!!
