 Year 6  - Working from home


This week, Year 6 have been working at home but that hasn't stopped them producing some fantastic work! We have had some great pieces in from across the three classes and we are very proud of how hard some of the children have been working.

They have continued to follow the English and Maths curriculum at home as well as following some Black History lessons.  

Below are some great examples of a Balanced Argument from Sophia, Tavisha,  Stella and Holly.




 


Some children have also been working hard on their Art skills - George and Kartik have created these pieces - Well done !

Netball: Havering CHAMPIONS!

 Well done to our FANTASTIC netball team for winning the Havering league today.  They have officially been crowned the best netball players in Havering! 30 teams entered the tournament at the beginning and it was down to the final 4 today in the semi finals. First we beat Gidea Park and then squirrels went on to beat James Oglethorpe 12-4 in the final - a very well deserved win. Compliments were given by all other coaches and the sports collective on what an amazing tournament we have had.  Well done again Squirrels and a huge well done to Mr Leslie for all his hard work and dedication as a coach.

Year 4 trip to the National Gallery

 We are having a great time at the National gallery today. We got here in good time and are enjoying looking at the great artwork on display. I think many of the children are also looking forward to having lunch and as always the train trip has been a highlight.  More photos to follow.
