Year 5 Self-portraits

In Year 5, we have begun to explore different ways of representing the human face. Our first task has been to create a self-portrait in pencil.

Using a photograph of ourselves, we spent some time carefully observing and noting every line, crease and wrinkle we could! We then used another copy of our faces to help us recreate these observations and proportion them effectively.

Together, they have generated quite an astonishing outcome, don’t you think?
