Year 4 Investigating Saxon Projectiles Strategies in Willow class!

 This week in Science we explored how Saxon and Viking invaders kept themselves safe while invading Britain...we asked how close must you be to a target in order to guarantee a hit? How do you stay back as far as you can? We estimated and had 3 goes to reach our target while keeping as far a distance as we could, then we recorded our results and talked about all the factors that might affect our accuracy! 


We would be fantastic invaders!

Year 4 trip to the National Gallery

 We are having a great time at the National gallery today. We got here in good time and are enjoying looking at the great artwork on display. I think many of the children are also looking forward to having lunch and as always the train trip has been a highlight.  More photos to follow.
