Year 3 Sports Day

On Friday year 3 took part in sports day and did amazingly well! They had a great time competing in 6 activities involving running, jumping and throwing. It was great to see the children encouraging their team on and hearing lots of laughter and cheers.

After all their hard work the children had ice lollies, which they enjoyed just as much as the sport!


Well done year 3!

Netball: Havering CHAMPIONS!

 Well done to our FANTASTIC netball team for winning the Havering league today.  They have officially been crowned the best netball players in Havering! 30 teams entered the tournament at the beginning and it was down to the final 4 today in the semi finals. First we beat Gidea Park and then squirrels went on to beat James Oglethorpe 12-4 in the final - a very well deserved win. Compliments were given by all other coaches and the sports collective on what an amazing tournament we have had.  Well done again Squirrels and a huge well done to Mr Leslie for all his hard work and dedication as a coach.

Year 4 trip to the National Gallery

 We are having a great time at the National gallery today. We got here in good time and are enjoying looking at the great artwork on display. I think many of the children are also looking forward to having lunch and as always the train trip has been a highlight.  More photos to follow.
