Year 5’s Epic Dance-Off

 It has been a wonderful year of learning in Year 5 and to celebrate all the hard work that has been done, we had the party to end all parties. Students came together at the end of the wonderful day to participate in a dance off that brought so much joy to the whole year group. There were an array of spectacular moves showcasing athleticism and fantastic rhythm.  Well done 5 Maple, 5 Holly and 5 Birch..you did yourselves proud.

Netball: Havering CHAMPIONS!

 Well done to our FANTASTIC netball team for winning the Havering league today.  They have officially been crowned the best netball players in Havering! 30 teams entered the tournament at the beginning and it was down to the final 4 today in the semi finals. First we beat Gidea Park and then squirrels went on to beat James Oglethorpe 12-4 in the final - a very well deserved win. Compliments were given by all other coaches and the sports collective on what an amazing tournament we have had.  Well done again Squirrels and a huge well done to Mr Leslie for all his hard work and dedication as a coach.

Year 4 trip to the National Gallery

 We are having a great time at the National gallery today. We got here in good time and are enjoying looking at the great artwork on display. I think many of the children are also looking forward to having lunch and as always the train trip has been a highlight.  More photos to follow.
