Year 4 get a good work out in pilates class.

This week all the children in year 4 have been developing their postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance by taking part the pilates lessons.  As well as being great for their health the children have also had a lot of fun.

Lily in 4Fir said "I like that we get to learn different poses and it is also relaxing."

Over the remainder of the term all the children in Year 3 will continue to develop their skills and understanding of pilates.  This is also something that they can practice at home.  There are some great pilates videos for children on youtube of you want to give it a go!
