World War One day in year 5.
Last week we had our WWI Day in Year Five.
The Fresh Water Theatre Company visited in the morning and carried out a workshop with the children based on the experience of a soldier from that time.
Other activities that children completed on the day included:
WWI silhouette art, drama performances (based around our book Private Peaceful) and letters from Homefront to soldiers in the trenches.
