Readathon Results Week 3

What an amazing fortnight of reading we have had! 

Well done to all those children who have continued to read during the half term and this week - we can't wait to see how many pages we have all read by the end of our Readathon next Friday. 

Across the whole school an astounding 93,298 pages have been read - a huge increase from our first week's total of 24,836 


Our winners for Week 3 are...

1st place  - 4 Beech (15,836 pages) 

2nd place  - 3 Elm (11,381 pages)

3rd place  - 5 Palm (8946 pages)

Also well done to 6 Maple and 4 Pine who also read over 8000 pages each.

A great start to Stubbers

 It has been a great start to our adventures at Stubbers!  We went on a nature trail around a large lake, that we will be using later on today for water sports activities. We even managed to find some exciting equipment to play on along the way.  We are now eating our lunch, and getting ready for the fun this afternoon.  Keep checking for exciting updates!

What a great first day at Stubbers

After lunch, we all started our first activities. We all got to go on a climbing wall, with many of us reaching the top. We also got to try open canoeing or double kayaking, even though it was meant to be fairly dry activity many of us managed to get nice and wet. After our activities we found our tents for the next couple of days and then had our dinner, it was a very tasty bolognaise with fruit for pudding.  We are now waiting for our evening activity, the mini Olympics, then time for some well earned rest.  We will keep you updated in the morning. Another exciting morning at Stubbers

 This morning, we have been able to try out lots of new activities, including paddleboarding, a team challenge, archery and combat archery. Everyone has got involved and had great fun.  I am sure that everyone is looking forward to their lunch and their afternoon activities   We will keep you updated later on, remember keep checking in!
