The Sheep-Pig Year 3

 Over the past few weeks in Year 3 we have been studying Haiku poems.  We decided to celebrate finishing off our book for English this term by writing Haiku poems about the main character. Once we had created our poems, we showed great courage by performing our poems to our class.  We had great performances and even added some actions! We are now Haiku experts and would love to share some examples of our work with you.  Look at the photos below of our work:

Year 4 trip to the National Gallery

 We are having a great time at the National gallery today. We got here in good time and are enjoying looking at the great artwork on display. I think many of the children are also looking forward to having lunch and as always the train trip has been a highlight.  More photos to follow.

Netball: Havering CHAMPIONS!

 Well done to our FANTASTIC netball team for winning the Havering league today.  They have officially been crowned the best netball players in Havering! 30 teams entered the tournament at the beginning and it was down to the final 4 today in the semi finals. First we beat Gidea Park and then squirrels went on to beat James Oglethorpe 12-4 in the final - a very well deserved win. Compliments were given by all other coaches and the sports collective on what an amazing tournament we have had.  Well done again Squirrels and a huge well done to Mr Leslie for all his hard work and dedication as a coach.
