Super Squirrels Athletes!
This morning our year 6 athletics team attended an indoor Athletics event at Harold lodge sports centre to compete against other primary schools from the local area.
Every single child represented the school, many for the first time, faultlessly. Their effort, sportsmanship, support of one another and general attitude and behaviour was a real credit to the school and Mrs Cross was very proud of them all.
The children gave each other tremendous encouragement and the sense of being in a team was so evident throughout the morning.
The team came 3rd overall, this a great result!
