The story of the pretzel - Year 3

 In RE this week we looked the symbolism of hot cross buns in Christianity. We spoke about the importance of Lent to Christians and why it is celebrated. Pretzels are seen as a traditional Lenten food by many people all around the world, so this week during RE the children had the chance to create their own clay pretzels.  Have a look at some of our work below:
