1066 Day in Year 4…our day as Normans!

We had such an amazing day in school today! At the very last minute our workshop was cancelled because our visitor was ill, so we turned it into an even better day! We made Norman castles,  we made and tested our own catapults, designed shields and made our own “wine” and gingerbread feast!

For some classes, we were so busy we couldn’t squeeze everything in, but we will get to do more Norman activities over the week!
