Jubilee week in Year 6

 

To celebrate the Queen's 70th Jubilee we have spent the week taking part in some exciting themed activities.

In year 6 we have: baked and iced shortbread biscuits, designed and painted a decorative plate and then taken part in our school Jubilee festivities with a dance and singing of the national anthem.

To tie in with this, we have also spent some time taking part in a historical enquiry by looking at the ways the Queen represents and reflects all the different parts of British values and our society.
