Greek Day in Year 3

 Year 3 had a fantastic day on Monday with a theatre workshop. They all thoroughly enjoyed becoming trainee time travellers and helping the time traveller to pass her final attempt at graduating. They had to journey to Ancient Greece and help the time traveller to answer seven difficult questions using the information they gained from the various Ancient Greek visitors who appeared throughout the workshop. 

After they spent the rest of the day on various Ancient Greek crafts, firstly becoming cobblers, making Greek sandals. Secondly, they became potters creating some beautifully decorated terracotta clay oil lamps. Finally, they had a go at being architects, constructing Greek temples on a watercolour sunset that they painted earlier.
