Brilliant brass band!

For the last 6 weeks, year 4 have been fortunate enough to have brass tuition lessons provided by the fabulous Havering Music School, where the charismatic Mr Whey has lead students from being complete novices to starter brass instrumentalists.

Children have learnt how to play the notes C, D, E, F and G on trumpet, trombone, baritone horn and tenor horn and have begun to play as part of an ensemble. As teachers of year 4, it has been an absolute joy to watch the students progress each week on the instruments and see the pure joy that it brings each child. We will miss these lessons very much!

If your child expressed an interest in continuing brass tuition with Mr Whey but was not able to attend the parent talk on Tuesday 31st October, then please tell students to visit the school office where they will be able to pick up a sheet giving more information on how to continue the tuition.
