TTRS contest winners!

 Last week, we ran our first inter-year TTRS contest!


Each class played against the other classes in their year group.  It was great to see so many children get involved and practice their times tables along the way! We can assure you the teachers were just as competitive as the children!


The winners were:

Year 6 - Pine Class

Year 5 - Elm Class

Year 4 - Birch Class

Year 3 - Palm Class


Each child in the winning class was awarded a special pencil for their win!


A special shout out to Christian F in 6 Pine scored 34000 points and answered the most questions correctly in the whole school!  


Well done to all the winning classes.  We will be running another contest next term so stay tuned!

A great start to Stubbers

 It has been a great start to our adventures at Stubbers!  We went on a nature trail around a large lake, that we will be using later on today for water sports activities. We even managed to find some exciting equipment to play on along the way.  We are now eating our lunch, and getting ready for the fun this afternoon.  Keep checking for exciting updates!

What a great first day at Stubbers

After lunch, we all started our first activities. We all got to go on a climbing wall, with many of us reaching the top. We also got to try open canoeing or double kayaking, even though it was meant to be fairly dry activity many of us managed to get nice and wet. After our activities we found our tents for the next couple of days and then had our dinner, it was a very tasty bolognaise with fruit for pudding.  We are now waiting for our evening activity, the mini Olympics, then time for some well earned rest.  We will keep you updated in the morning. Another exciting morning at Stubbers

 This morning, we have been able to try out lots of new activities, including paddleboarding, a team challenge, archery and combat archery. Everyone has got involved and had great fun.  I am sure that everyone is looking forward to their lunch and their afternoon activities   We will keep you updated later on, remember keep checking in!
