Badminton Festival

The children invited to the Badminton Racket Pack session at Harrow Lodge Park Leisure Centre had great fun, while learning some key badminton skills and terminology.

Did you know that badminton is played with a shuttlecock and racket, on a court; which has white or yellow lines? 

The bottom of a shuttlecock is called a base and the top is called a skirt, professional ones are made with feathers.

The children took part in a variety of activities with the help of sport leaders.
