 Over the past few weeks we have been learning a life skill in the club, sewing to decorate a book mark. The children learnt how to thread a needle, how to knot the end of the thread, along with both, a running Stitch and cross Stitch.

Year 4 trip to the National Gallery

 We are having a great time at the National gallery today. We got here in good time and are enjoying looking at the great artwork on display. I think many of the children are also looking forward to having lunch and as always the train trip has been a highlight.  More photos to follow.

Netball: Havering CHAMPIONS!

 Well done to our FANTASTIC netball team for winning the Havering league today.  They have officially been crowned the best netball players in Havering! 30 teams entered the tournament at the beginning and it was down to the final 4 today in the semi finals. First we beat Gidea Park and then squirrels went on to beat James Oglethorpe 12-4 in the final - a very well deserved win. Compliments were given by all other coaches and the sports collective on what an amazing tournament we have had.  Well done again Squirrels and a huge well done to Mr Leslie for all his hard work and dedication as a coach.
