Local History in Year 5

For Local History Week, Year 5 spent the afternoon learning about Squirrels Heath Junior School itself. They were amazed when they discovered that the school was initially created to teach the children of local factory workers. As they researched how the school has changed over time, the children were also keen to spot similarities and differences between the old photos of the school on its current site and how it looks today.
