Using programable toys in Reception

 

This week, the children have loved using the programable robot 'Glowbot' in class. 

We have been learning how to use the vocabulary 'forwards, backwards, left and right'.

We have been pressing the buttons carefully and counting the number of moves Glowbot makes in each direction. 

The children have been very good at remembering their instructions and using 'trial and improvement' methods to get the Glowbot to move to different locations on the space map.
