A busy Science Week in Year 1!

 We had a very busy week in Year 1 this week. Not only was it Science Week, and we had a special science lesson with Mr Fowles, but we also were busy making a card for some special ladies ready for this Sunday. 

Mr Fowles told us all about the different parts of a plant and we were excited to press our own flowers and investigate the parts of a flower. 

One class used these to create their cards for their special ladies. Other classes used their own designs.

We had a great time learning and creating this week.
