Year 6 International Week 🌎🌍🌏

This week in year 6, we have been studying countries from all over the world who qualified for the World Cup! In Holly, we have been studying the USA; in Maple, we have been studying South Africa and in Birch, we have been studying Japan. We’ve created fact files on our countries and researched some famous faces to create biographies. In art, we have looked at some artist who have made a cultural impact in their country and completed some work in their style. In Birch, we successfully tackled our way through a karate kata- a martial art form in Japan. We’ve had a fantastic time learning a World Cup dance to get us in the footy mood and showcasing all of our learning to other classes in our phase.
