EYFS: A Wonderful First Week in Reception

What a fantastic first week our Reception children have had!

Starting school is such a big milestone, and we are incredibly proud of how well the children have settled into their new classroom and routines.

This term our topic is Let’s Explore. Our focus book this week was The Colour Monster Goes to school.

The children have enjoyed discovering our different areas of learning, sharing stories, getting creative and spending time outdoors. They have also been developing their independence by learning to look after their belongings, tidy up and make their own choices.

Here is what we have been up to:

Well done, Reception you have had an amazing first week!

We can't wait for all the adventures still to come! ❤️
