EYFS: What We Are Learning 

This term our topic is Let’s Explore. Our focus book this week was Rosie’s Walk.

Here is what we have been up to:

The children have also been working hard in our Twinkl Phonics lessons this week.  This week we learnt the sounds N,M,D,G,O We have now started writing in our phonics books tracing over each sound that we learn and then having a go independently. It would be great if you could practise these 5 sounds at home this week. 

In Maths this week the children have been counting objects to 3 and recognising the numerals 1, 2, and 3.

We have also been very busy creating self portraits. These are now up on display in the Reception corridor.
