Squirrels Heath Junior School

 It has been a wonderful year of learning in Year 5 and to celebrate all the hard work that has been done, we had the party to end all parties. Students came together at the end of the wonderful day to participate in a dance off that brought so much joy to the whole year group. There were an array of spectacular moves showcasing athleticism and fantastic rhythm.  Well done 5 Maple, 5 Holly and 5 Birch..you did yourselves proud.  Have a look at some of our lovely pictures.

  Y6 Leavers Well, what can we say? You have all had a fantastic final year in Squirrels Heath Junior. We are so proud of how hard you have all worked. We have put together a film, for each class, to look back on your final year here. We hope you enjoy watching it - have an amazing time in secondary school and continue to be the best you can be!  French Day 2021! We had lots of fun celebrating Bastille Day this year at school. First of all we got to dress up in red, white and blue just like the French flag. During the day we took part in lots of fun activities like playing French playground games, eating croissants, practising our French using our Chromebooks and taking part in a variety of fun French activities in class. We even had French food on the menu at lunchtime. The pancakes for dessert proved very popular! 

On Friday year 3 took part in sports day and did amazingly well! They had a great time competing in 6 activities involving running, jumping and throwing. It was great to see the children encouraging their team on and hearing lots of laughter and cheers. After all their hard work the children had ice lollies, which they enjoyed just as much as the sport! Well done year 3! 

 Fantastic sportsmanship From Year 4 today, cheering each other along through all of the activities...well done! We had hurdles, chest pass, football dribble, ball balance race, long jump and tennis ball relay. Lots of fun in the sun!
